How to Solve a Flow Chart

Follow the pattern of first box.Use phrase. Phrase is a group of words without subject and a finite verb.

*First write a title. For example:

A flow chart is given below showing the activities and achievements of Nelson Mandela. 

Generally,box can be any of the following four types:

      1. verb+ing: Guiding, Embodying, Fighting, Struggling

      2. To + verb: To guide, To embody, To fight, To struggle

      3. Noun phrase: Bloodshed in the Language Movement, Failure to form government,

      4. Omitting the subject: Want to live, Want to get their rights,Want to get political freedom 

      Follow the pattern given in the  first box of the question.

      Don’t use full stop at the end

       Capital letter in the beginning of the each box.

If first box begins with present participle, all the boxes will be in present participle.If first box begins with infinitive, all the boxes will be in infinitive. Put an arrow sign after each box.

*Draw six boxes side by side and put number(1-6)sequentially  inside each box.
