1.       The Nile is the longest river in the world.

Comparative= The Nile is longer than any other river in the world.

Positive= No other river is as long as the Nile.

2.       The Nile is one of the longest rivers in the world.

Comparative= The Nile is longer than many other rivers in the world.

Positive= Very few rivers in the world are as long as the Nile.

3.        Rumi is not as meritorious as Ashfia.

Asfia is more meritorious than Rumi.

 

4.       The Nile is the longest of all rivers in the world.

Comparative= The Nile is longer than all other rivers in the world.

Positive-No other river in the world is as long as the Nile.

5.It burns the prettiest of any wood.

Comparative:It burns prettier than any other wood.

      Positive:No other wood burns as pretty as it.

The School Boy Summary

  'The Schoolboy' Answer : The speaker of the poem   tells the readers about his disliking to school. Children generally love a summer morning, birds' chirping, huntsmen's horns and skylarks' songs. School going children cannot enjoy these because they have to go to school in the morning. They spend the school time in sighing and dismay. A traditional school deprives a child of all its innocence and joy.
