How Do I Love Thee Poem Summary 



The speaker starts by asking how she loves her beloved and then lists the ways. She says her love is huge and impossible to measure. It reaches the deepest parts of her soul and the highest parts of her spirit. Her love is strong and lasts through both happy times and sad times. It’s pure, selfless, and given freely, like the innocence of a child. In the end, she says her love will only grow stronger, even after death, if God allows it.
